Hold my Heart
"Hold My Heart" is a 16”x20” oil painting with a black wooden frame measuring 18”x22”. There is a hanging wire on the back.
The periwinkle pop in the middle of the dramatic dark reds caught my eye and sparked my interest in painting bouquets. The title "Hold My Heart" comes from the Lenka song "We Will Not Grow Old". Her sweet voice feels like the soft periwinkle in the middle of this deep song.
The paintings are from my series of wedding bouquet paintings. My dear friend is a wedding photographer (Sylvia Damaris), and she provided me with inspiration photos for these gorgeous colorful paintings. They are a celebration of love. The titles are taken from the lyrics of love songs.
