Painted Bouquet
Preserve your wedding bouquet in a one of a kind abstract painting
You spent time, money, and energy getting all of the details of your wedding spot on. The colors, the dresses, the flowers, the venue. All the details people noticed, and even those that people didn't.
It was a beautiful day. One day. Let me help you preserve the wonderful memories of your wedding day in a one-of-a-kind painting inspired by your wedding bouquet. You put so much thought into the details of your wedding - they deserve to last a life time. |
The process
1. Click the "Book Your Commission" button.
The form will ask you a few basic questions and a few details about your wedding. 2. Send your bouquet photos to chellethepainter@gmail.com. If you have more than one photo, that would be super helpful. This is also a great time to ask me any questions you have about the process or tell me any details about your bouquet (like a specific color or flower) that you would really want me to make the focus of the painting. 3. I'll create a mock up of what your painting would look like. Within two business days, I will send you the mock up. In that email, I will also send the invoice and contract for you to sign. Once we've settled on the design, the invoice is paid, and the contract signed, your spot will be officially booked. 4. I'll paint you the painting inspired by your bouquet. On the start date specified on the contract, I will begin working on your painting. It will take approximately two months to complete and one month to dry. Near the end of the process, I will send you some in progress pictures of your painting. 5. I'll send the final invoice and ship your painting. Once it is ready to go, I will send you a final image of your painting and the final invoice. I will ship the painting once the final invoice is paid. 6. Enjoy! You will have a keepsake from your wedding day that you can have on display and use as the centerpiece for the home you are building together. Joy can be found in bright colors, flowers, and the celebration of your love. |
Your commissioned painting costs $400.
The painting will take approximately three months to complete and dry once started. There are 20 commission spaces available for 2022. Once the spaces are filled, I will start a waitlist for 2023 spaces. |
I'm excited to create this wonderful keepsake as you build your life together. I think weddings are such beautiful and joyful occasions, and we should preserve that energy in our daily lives. Your painted bouquet will be a constant reminder of your celebration of love.
FAQs
What if my wedding hasn't happened yet?
Not a problem! In the booking form, I ask when your wedding date is if it hasn't happened yet. I will schedule your project for at least one month after your wedding. Make sure you let your photographer know that you want some great shots of your bouquet.
What if I want to give a commissioned painting as a wedding/anniversary gift?
Love this for the happy couple! Send me an email at chellethepainter@gmail.com, and I can help you make that happen.
What if I'm worried about the quality of my photos?
If you have any concerns about the quality of your photos or are questioning if your bouquet would make a good painting, send me an email at chellethepainter@gmail.com with some photos, and we can take a look and see! Your wedding was a beautiful day, and I want to make sure that your painting is a beautiful preservation of that day.
Why does it take three months to finish a painting?
I know that seems like a long time! I work in oil paints, and they take longer to dry than acrylic paint. It's a bit of an inconvenience, but I think they are worth the wait. I love the rich colors and expressive painterly qualities that I am able to achieve with this painting style. Usually it will take me about two months to finish the painting and about a month to let it dry enough that I feel comfortable shipping the painting.
