New Growth
At the time when I was dreaming up the Poetry of Flowers collection, I was spending time each day walking around my yard with my dogs checking out the new growth on the plants. It felt like every day there was something new to look at. Plants were growing right before my eyes. It was new and exciting, and it filled me with hope.
At that same time, I was in the initial stages of courting someone new. The parallels between the hope I felt about the potential new relationship and the new growth in my yard struck a chord with me. It felt like I was living life with rose colored glasses on and warm fuzzies in my soul.
