Being a Damsel in Distress Sounds Exhausting
For the piece Being a Damsel in Distress Sounds Exhausting, I wanted to create a subtle, feminine, and romantic feeling. At times in my life, I feel like there has been an expectation for me to play the "damsel in distress" role, and that's never really sat well with me. I don't want to wait around for a knight in shining armor to rescue me. I don't have the patience for that. I want to own my feminine energy and strength and save myself.
Size Details: "Being a Damsel in Distress Sounds Exhausting" is a 8"x8" oil painting on stretched canvas. There is a hanging wire on the back.
