I was talking with two friends about my decision to stop trying to seem normal when meeting new people - especially in dating. I said the words "I don't get any less weird the more you know me." And that feels incredibly true. I'm weird, and I don't care if you think I'm weird. I don't want people to like a version of me that isn't real. That's not sustainable. I would rather be liked for exactly who I am.
