Kaleidoscope Soul
The Kaleidoscope Soul collection is inspired by the idea that every person we meet leaves a mark on who we are. They form a chapter in our story book. And we end up becoming a kaleidoscope soul - made of pieces and parts of everyone we’ve met. Some chapters are short and sweet. Some are long and complicated and have a lot going on. Some are bright & bold. Some are peaceful. Each chapter is unique.
The Kaleidoscope Soul collection was painted on two pieces of copper colored glitter fabric table lining. Then after the paintings were completed, I cut them into the twenty pieces that would become the twenty mini paintings - each representing one chapter. While there is a lot of variety in each mini painting, I challenged myself to only use five colors of paint along with my collection of oil pastels and oil paint markers.

Kaleidoscope Soul is a collection of 4”x4” oil paintings on stretched fabric. There is a hanging hook on the back.
