Stained
"Stained" is a beautiful example of the inspiration for my stained glass painting style. It was inspired by a piece of glass in the Tiffany stained glass museum in Winter Park, Florida. With the oil paint thinned out in this style, everything is visible. If I make a mistake, it can never be fully covered up or changed. From that moment on, I work with the mistake or imperfection to make it beautiful. I feel like it is a reflection of life. We cannot go back in time to change things. We can only move forward and work with what has happened. We are stained by the things that happen to us, and we all have an opportunity to make a beautiful life.
Size Details: "Stained" is a 36"x36" oil painting on stretched canvas. There is a hanging wire on the back.

Special Shipping Note: Due to the size, this painting will ship rolled. Before shipping, I will remove it from its stretcher bars and carefully roll the painting. Once it arrives, you can take the painting to a professional framing shop to have it re-stretched.
