History & a dad joke all in one.
This little painting is made from my first ever oil painting - a study of one of Jean Jaques David's paintings of Napoleon Bonaparte. I cut the painting into pieces and sewed them back together before assembling them on the mini painting frame.
Let me paint you a picture: He places them on his desk (they stand on their own or can hang on a wall). Any time someone asks about them. He gets to say "it's Napoleon Bonaparte. In parts. THE BONA-PARTS." Endless joy! |

On Sunday, December 22nd, I will be a vendor at A DASH of SAGE Holiday Pop-up event. It is from 11am-4pm in the first floor of the Bellin Building. I'll have all sorts of goodies available for your last minute shopping needs, and you'll have the opportunity to shop some other artist vendors. When you're done, you can pop over to the Daily Buzz for a festive holiday beverage to warm you up! The pop-up event will also be the first chance to buy the actual artwork that became the Playful Poets Oracle Deck.
